In the lead-up to their 2019 Flesh & Blood World Tour and the new studio album of the same name, rock mainstays Whitesnake have posted a slide show to accompany ‘Comin’ Home.’ The song was a bonus track on their last studio release, 2015’s The Purple Album.

The new album, originally project for a spring 2018 release, will be out on Frontiers in May 2019. The first single is to be ‘Shut Up & Kiss Me.’ The album, their 13th studio set, will be showcased, along with the band’s trademark anthems, on the tour. Whitesnake recently announced the first set of dates for the itinerary, which will open in Newkirk, AS on 12 April. Frontman David Coverdale is joined in the line-up by guitarists Reb Beach and Joel Hoekstra, Michael Devin (bass), Tommy Aldridge (drums) and Michele Luppi (keys)

“We are truly excited and looking forward to playing across the globe in 2019,” says Coverdale, “on what will be a continued celebration of the 40th anniversary of Whitesnake. I am so honoured and grateful to have toured this incredible world we share, for over 40 years, celebrating and enjoying unforgettable moments with millions of people…all of whom have joined me on this amazing journey.

“I truly love the shared experience and simply love my job and always will,” continues Coverdale, “over four decades of reptilian fun! Thank YOU!”
