The U.S. Navy Concert Band has a performance scheduled for 8 p.m. Feb. 23 in Tuscaloosa.
The free concert will be held at the Moody Music Building, 810 Second Ave., at the University of Alabama School of Music.
The band is the premier wind ensemble of the U.S. Navy and has been performing public concerts for more than 90 years.
The U.S. Navy Concert Band will perform a variety of marches, patriotic music, orchestral pieces and more.
The Tuscaloosa appearance will be part of the band’s 2019 tour through 25 cities in 10 states. The Feb. 23 show will be the band’s only appearance in Alabama.
